Paramount Theater

The mission of the Paramount Theatre & Visual Arts Center is to provide opportunities for artistic production, creative exploration, arts education and the enjoyment of arts and entertainment. The facility is managed to ensure use by a diverse set of patrons, enhance artistic opportunity, provide a creative environment for community involvement in the arts, and generate a positive economic impact on Downtown St. Cloud.

The renovated historic Theatre serves as a stage for rent by numerous community groups to perform as well as a location to attend professional performances by touring musicians and theatrical groups.

The Visual Arts Center (VAC), located in the lower level of the building, offers visual arts classes for beginning and experienced artists in the community. The VAC also offers professional development opportunities for artists, educators and businesses in the Central Minnesota region. The VAC also offers exhibition opportunities and provides exposure for local artists through juried competitions.

The Paramount Gallery and Gifts, located next door to the theatre, provides the opportunity for local artists to sell their work.

The facility has many spaces for rent including party rooms, studios, the theatre/stage and exhibition/gallery space.

Dick Putz & Joe Faber Fields

The initial baseball field, which is known today as Dick Putz Field was opened in 1971 for baseball. Over the next 40 years Dick Putz Field has gone under several upgrades and renovations, making it one of the finest fields in the Nation. In 1993, Dick Putz Field was honored by the National High School Coaches Association as recipient of its 1993 “Field of the Year”.

In 1998, the addition of Joe Faber Field made the MAC a unique complex with two beautiful regulation size baseball fields side-by-side. Each year the two fields average over 400 games between the two of them. Teams from the area high schools, colleges, VFWs, Legions and amateur leagues make up the groups using these two fields. Each year the field host several prestigious tournaments starting with the State Class “AA” tournament, sandwiched by Legion and Amateur tournaments and concluding up with St. Cloud Rox playoffs and Amateur state tournament qualification games.

The two ball fields host many area teams including the amateur collegiate baseball team the St. Cloud Rox of the Northwoods League and the NCAA DII baseball powerhouse, St. Cloud State Huskies. No matter the team, it can be guaranteed that if you show up to the fields, there will be baseball.

St. Cloud Country Club

The St. Cloud Country Club is one of the area’s finest golf courses and events centers. Home to a gorgeous 18 hole course as well as a fine dining and events room, there isn’t much this place can’t handle. With top notch staff to flawless greens, rest assured, your enjoyment is the top priority.

Located just a mere 10 minutes away from the Eagles Landing neighborhood, this is the perfect place to get out and enjoy a beautiful summer day. With various different golf memberships, there are plenty of options for individuals and families alike. No matter if its hitting the links or tying the knot, the St. Cloud Country Club has the capacity to handle all of your needs.

Summertime by George

Lake George is host to the St. Cloud Rotary Club’s ongoing summer music and arts festival, Summertime by George. Every Wednesday from June 10th through August, 26th, local bands, vendors and artists alike put on crowd pleasing shows at the newly renovated Lake George.

Powder Ridge Ski Resort

The Powder Ridge Winter Recreation Resort is located in Kimball Minnesota, 20 minutes from the Eagles Landing Neighborhood. A great place for a daily getaway to hit the slopes or go snow tubing with the kids, their affordable daily rates make it a reasonable family destination.

Albertville Premium Outlet Center

The Albertville Premium Outlet Center is located just 30 minutes from Eagles Landing and offers 100 different factory outlets such as LuLu Lemon, Nike, Under Armour, Ralph Lauren and The North Face. A quick jump to I-94 and short drive is all that separates residents from handling all their personal shopping needs.

Crossroads Shopping Center

For those looking to get their shopping done close to home, the Crossroads Shopping center is the perfect place to get just about everything you could possibly need. With plenty of places to shop and eat and entertain, Crossroads is a great place for Eagles Landing residents to hang out.

Located just 50 minutes from Eagles Landing is the greater Minneapolis/St. Paul area that plays host to Minnesota’s beloved professional sports teams. With several state of the art stadiums across the metro skyline, a day at the ball park or ice arena is sure to be filled with fun and excitement. The Mall of America is the country’s largest mall and its located just an hour from Eagles Landing. With plenty of shops and entertainment spots, the MOA is a great place for a full day getaway.
